The last mile - bottleneck of modern logistics

Whether craft business, green maintenance or parcel service: On the last mile, conventional transport solutions are increasingly reaching their limits. Traffic jams, lack of parking and access restrictions make timely delivery difficult. At the same time, the demands for climate protection, efficiency and flexibility are increasing. Especially in urban areas, it becomes clear: Transport with traditional small vans is often expensive, impractical - and not future-proof.

Loading volume

The zemmi has a volume of 4,200 litres. Twice as much as most bicycles in logistics, more than any small transporter - and all within just 1 m in width. This is enough for 350 packages, 6,250 rubber ducks or 710,000 Lego bricks.

Innovation

The patented braking system and saddle coupling ensure a safe ride. At the same time, the vehicle is 50% shorter than others with comparable volume.

Production

The minimalist design of the zemmi and the small number of components allow the bumper to be replaced with just a few screws. The axle and drum brake are tried and tested technology from Al-Ko.

Modularity

The zemmi comes with five different box solutions and can be towed by most cargo bikes that have two wheels at the back. We are happy to advise!

What others say

"Since we have been using the zemmi trailer, we have been able to increase productivity on these routes by 20% compared to a cargo bike with a volume of 2.2 cubic metres. Our operating costs have also decreased significantly: no maintenance and only occasionally changing tyres, which costs about €30 per tyre."

Bringing cargo bike logistics to a new volume

The zemmi is compatible with most 4-wheeled cargo bikes. Depending on the application and location, different manufacturers are suitable. The zemmi is already in use with wheels from METRUCKS, Mubea and VOWAG. Other manufacturers are in the qualification process. Feel free to contact us! We will find the right bike for your company.

A combination with a zemmi trailer does not require approval. No driving licence is needed to operate the zemmi either. However, we recommend taking out cargo bike insurance. For companies introducing the zemmi for the first time, we also offer driver training.

In many large cities, zemmis are already in use. Write to us! We can either organise a contact or bring a zemmi for you to test!
